ROAD to 2020

2016 Tree planting schedule

The rains have arrived, and survival rates of seedlings are higher when planted during the rainy season. The time really is NOW to plant a tree!

Where?

The tree plantings take place on Mt. Banahaw and Mt. Cristobal in Laguna Province, in the Municipality of Nagcarlan & San Pablo City. Exact locations & directions provided upon registering below!

When?

You, your friends and family are welcome to leave a legacy with us on the following tree planting dates for 2016!

  • July 30 FULL!
  • August 27 FULL!
  • October & November plantings require more seedlings to be adopted. WE NEED YOU TO ADOPT MORE SEEDLINGS!

How to volunteer:

  1. Fill up this online form here.
  2. We request a P300 peso donation per person after you sign up for a tree planting activity. P300 supports the care and nurturing of one native tree seedling until it is ready for planting. It also contributes to the livelihoods of communities who help us maintain the planted seedlings so that they grow into forests! Priority placement is given to those who donate, or Haribon members.
    a. Donate online:

Via our Ushare Take Action page here. Select “Tree planting” in the dropdown.b. Donate via bank deposit:
Account Name: Haribon Foundation for the Conservation of Natural Resources Inc. Bank: Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
    Savings Account No.: 1991-0036-02
Email a photo of your deposit slip with Subject: “Payment for Tree Planting, *DATE YOU’VE CHOSEN*” to membership@haribon.org.ph.
  3. Wait for confirmation email and additional directions and tree planting tips!

See you #onthefield!

  1. Hi Haribon,

Do you have carpooling options for anyone near Las Piñas-Alabang area? I would like to volunteer but have no means to get there.

    • Hi Cha, we apologize for the lack in response. Our next tree planting will take place in June-July when the rainy season begins. This increases the survival rates of newly-planted seedlings. If you would like updates on upcoming planting activities, please do like us on Facebook. Or email haringibon@haribon.org.ph with a request to join our mailing list. Thanks so much and hope to see you at our next tree planting!
