We are presently looking for dedicated professionals who have the passion for environment conservation to occupy the following positions (all positions for Quezon City main office unless otherwise noted):

  • Forester
  • Training Specialist

Administrative Officer

Responsible for the maintenance of supplies and office materials; office cleanliness and repair; coordination with contractors, vendors and repair personnel; maintenance and renewal of lease and service contracts regarding office space; and all such similar functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years experience handling administrative support services functions
  • Excellent communication skills and strong command of both oral and written English
  • Preferably a high level of PC skills and knowledge of software packages
  • Must be highly organized and results oriented
  • Exposure in an NGO set-up is an advantage

Forester

Handles research, technical activities and related concerns in Buhay Punlaan; monitoring of the site, specifically on the rainforestation activities of Haribon.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or related field, preferably a licensed Forester.
  • At least 2 – 3 years work experience on forest rehabilitation, Forest Surveying, Tree Taxonomy and basic knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS) is an advantage.
  • Can perform other operational/technical tasks under set conditions, policies, guidelines, procedures that may be necessary in support to the ROAD to 2020’s implementation of Rainforestation Technology. Mangrove restoration and other institutional needs.
  • Must be hard working and patient, honest, has long-term plan/service commitment to the institution, optimistic, has good attitude and persistent in delivering high quality and satisfying accomplishments.
  • Must have excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to travel and/or be assigned to the field.
  • Must have the passion for environmental conservation.
  • 6 Month Contract

Training Specialist

Coordinate and facilitate training activities; write, review and/or finalize training reports; develop and implement monitoring and evaluation for implemented training programs; ensure all training and knowledge materials developed by Haribon are accurate, of good quality; develop training project proposals and market the same for sustainability of programs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors degree in social sciences, environmental science or related field; Masters degree is an advantage
  • At least 2-3 years experience in training preparation, administration and documentation. Experience in training design, skills public speaking and in conducting trainings would be an advantage.
  • Must have excellent ability in documenting trainings, meetings, workshops etc. and must be persistent in collecting training documentations.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail. Must also be organized and systematic.
  • Must have working knowledge in environmental issues and concepts
  • Must be willing to travel and to be assigned in the project site.

  2. hello.. i am Emmanuel H. Garcia 46 yrs old, i’m from Irosin Sorsogon, I am an agriculture graduate but i work for an NGO for 4 years as Community Organizer focus on community based resource management, the said NGO was partner before by Foundation for the Philippine Environment and Tanggol Kalikasan the main focus of the project was a protection and conservation of Mt Bulusan Volcano Natural Pak. I’ve work also as Community Facilatator at KALAHI CIDSS for one year.
