Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is this about?
A: It’s about climate change actions in the Philippines, and screenings of two episodes regarding climate change in two nearby countries: Japan & South Korea.
Q: Why should I attend?
A: Climate change is something not many people, including some conservationists, don’t totally comprehend. You can learn more about it at this event from climate change advocates. It’s also free, and you may meet more like-minded people. It is also located in our new office, which makes you one of the few who get to see the new “nest” first!
Q: What is climate change?
A: The earth’s climate has always changed to a certain degree. But scientists have linked current changes in the earth’s climate to human practices. This is already resulting in changes in weather, reduction of species, and more. The best way to start helping the planet is to learn more, work with conservationists locally & globally, and to take appropriate action.
Q: Who is behind the 24 hour reality website and the 24 episodes?
A: The Climate Reality Project. It was founded by Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore and is one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to mobilizing action on climate change. With a global movement more than 5 million strong and a grassroots network of trained Climate Reality Leader activists, it is spreading the truth about the climate crisis and building popular support for clean energy solutions.
